Tariff
There is a minimum of a 2 night stay at weekends. You can book in for a relaxing weekend in the country, a half-term getaway, or a week or two experiencing your favourite Lake District season. The house sleeps a MAXIMUM of 6 persons.

Rates: Weekly rates are from £200 - £950. For shorter breaks the cottage is available from £40 - £140 per night. See website below for full details.

Christmas at Hideaway

3 nights from £499.00, 4 nights from £599.00, 7 nights £810. Please note - breakfast will not be available at Lake House and the pool at The Regent is also not available over the Christmas period (Dec 23rd to Dec 28th).

Welcome to Hideaway Cottage

Get the best of both worlds - the room, privacy and freedom of a self-catering cottage, along with the complimentary use of our indoor heated pool at The Regent, just down the drive. If you wish you can purchase breakfast at the adjoining Lake House Hotel, just a stone's throw from your cottage.

Setting

Set above Lake Windermere at Waterhead Bay with panoramic views across the water to the fells beyond, our detached traditional Lakeland stone barn is fully equipped for the most relaxed, easy-life holiday. Lake steamers leave from the pier at Waterhead Bay for a spectacular cruise of England’s largest lake, while England’s favourite picnic spot is just a 10 minute stroll.

Accommodation

Ground Floor: Large entrance hall with ample space for walking boots, shoes and all your outdoor gear. Three furnished bedrooms, including master bedroom featuring large picture window overlooking the lake. Two fully fitted bathrooms with sink, WC, bath and shower.
First Floor: Large open plan dining room and superbly equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker and microwave. A few steps lead to large lounge with Sky TV, log-effect fire and picturesque lake views.

Facilities

The cottage will be serviced before and after your visit by staff from The Lake House Hotel. Full English breakfast is served at Lake House (at additional cost) if required.

Peaceful garden with paved dining area facing the lake. Ample private parking.

Footpath from garden leads to Jenkin’s Crag and scenic lake vistas.
